Banshee Fest 2016 started out with some education and, of course wine. Some of the most revered producers of Pinot Noir in Sonoma County, talk about the method behind their magic; John Raytek of Ceritas Wines, Ross K Cobb of Cobb Wines, Katy Wilson of LaRue Wines, Noah Dorrance of Banshee Wines, Ehren Jordan of Failla wines and Ted Lemon of Littorai Wines. The event was held at the Healdsburg SHED, whom also provided an array of charciterie to be paired with the Pinot.
Serving up local food from The Wurst Restaurant, beer from Bear Republic Brewing Co. and of course Banshee Wines to go a long with a tremendous line up of music. Lord Huron was the headliner. They had the whole audience dancing and singing, with their amazing sound, charisma and soul. The opening bands were, the funky New Orleans sound of Black Sheep Brass Band and the brand new local must see, BRIX. Also, to keep throwing the good on, a percentage of proceeds was donated to the Healdsburg Food Pantry. All in all, this was one memorable Banshee Fest.
